Kanye goes to Broadway show, still manages to piss people off

Kanye West has issued his thousandth public apology of 2018, this time to the cast and crew of The Cher Show. West spent Monday night in New York City, attending the Broadway opening night of the show, which captures Rick Elice’s telling of the life and career of Cher. But West spent much of the night on his phone. according to one of the actors. Jarrod Spector—who plays Cher’s ex-husband and collaborator Sonny Bono in the jukebox musical—took to Twitter following opening night to address the rapper directly:

West, who attended with wife Kim Kardashian, responded to Spector’s sarcasm with a tame admission of fault:

With this sincere reply, West appears to have successfully dodged imminent controversy for the first time in a while. Crisis averted.
