Rapper and noted cool pants wearer Kanye West went on a Twitter rant the likes of which haven’t been seen for quite some time today, after catching flak from fellow rapper and cool pants wearer Wiz Khalifa about his decision to switch the name of his album from SWISH to Waves. At the heart of Khalifa’s issue with the change was, to his view, how it co-oped the signature “wavy” style of hip-hop luminary Max B.
It should probably be noted here that, Khalifa was at one time married to, and has a child with, West’s former girlfriend Amber Rose, so who’s to say what this might really be about. Either way, West did not take Khalifa’s criticism lightly, going on a 17-point diatribe with some extra commentary thrown in.
Maybe it was pangs of guilt over dragging an innocent child into a Twitter beef (or perhaps the blatant slut shaming), but West eventually deleted the entire thing. But he did add this:
That last tweet up at the top was in reference to Khalifa explaining the that initials KK that he threw into an earlier tweet were in reference to marijuana and not West’s wife Kim Kardashian:
