Kanye West, Bill Plympton collaborate on book

Kanye West is making quite the assult of the world of literature. Earlier this year he released Thank You And You're Welcome, a ragingly-essential, ghost-written 52 page book of aphorisms and witticisms from the Chi-Town wordsmith. October 20th sees the release of Glow In The Dark, the super-fancy picture book of his last tour and now he's teaming up with cult cartoon hero Bill Plympton for Through The Wire: Lyrics and Illuminations, an eighty-page graphic memoir that finds Plympton illustrating and expanding on the lyrics for 12 Kanye West songs.

Wow, three books in less than a year! That's impressive. Maybe someday he'll even write a real one! As fans of Plympton and West we remain, as always, cautiously optimistic.
