Kanye West gets probation, anger-management classes for paparazzo punch
A judge in Los Angeles has sentenced Kanye West to two years of probation, 24 anger-management classes, an unspecified amount of monetary restitution, and 250 hours of community service for attacking a paparazzo (errr, “filmmaker”) in July of last year, according to CNN. The incident was captured on film by the victim (that word could probably be in scare quotes, too), Daniel Ramos, who will also reportedly take West to civil court. West pleaded no contest to the misdemeanor charges, probably because it was tough to claim he didn’t do it after watching the video below. It remains to be seen how much cash Ramos will extract from West, though in the video Kanye puts a number on what a beat-down goes for these days: $250,000. Because this was not a felony charge, West did not appear for the sentencing. (Insert joke about letting the judge finish.)
