Kanye West parts ways with his DJ, who says his fans are probably just gay
Yesterday afternoon, the world of vaguely caring about who makes the beats behind rappers was rocked with the announcement that Kanye West was parting ways with DJ Million Dollar Mano. Hired because Kanye West only uses the freshest, most expensive millstones to grind his musical corn, Million Dollar Mano had been with West for years, contributing to both his live shows and the production of tracks. Nevertheless, the below video—compiled by a contributor to the Kanye To The fan forum—prompted some to suggest that his performance on the recent Yeezus Tour dates were worthy of a Thousand Dollar Mano, at best.
It collects several instances of Mano launching into the wrong songs, dropping the beat and never returning, or generally leaving Kanye stranded in front of huge crowds, with Kanye often calling out his name in anger and desperation. All in all, it seems to present a case of clear discrimination against Kanye West’s rights to have music, and some have speculated that Kanye simply refused to take it anymore.
However, Mano has since taken to Twitter to present the counterpoint that maybe you are all homosexuals.
But besides their secretly wanting to marry Kanye West, Mano says there’s another thing that fans and bloggers are overlooking: that he recently signed a co-publishing deal with Warner/Chappell Music, and that this is why he’s no longer concerned about being a part of Kanye’s tour.
Indeed, Mano says he’s just dedicating himself to what’s really important—such as compiling personal information on everyone who’s insulted him on Twitter, and posting 100-plus times in the past 24 hours.
Meanwhile, Kanye West has yet to offer comment on the split, with his most recent tweets being a tribute to Robin Williams, and photo after photo of pants. Yeah, you would want to get into Kanye West’s pants, wouldn’t you.
