Kanye West, The Strokes, Arcade Fire, Kings Of Leon top Coachella lineup

This year’s Coachella lineup has been announced, revealing which artists will be dragged out to the Indio desert the weekend of April 15 and 17. Although it contains precisely zero of the names that dominated this year’s most pervasive headlining rumors (i.e. the Rolling Stones, Radiohead, Pulp), and although it boasts an abundance of acts that were mainstays on the festival circuit in 2010, it’s still a fairly impressive and diverse bill. Arcade Fire, Kanye West, The Strokes, Kings Of Leon, The Black Keys, Animal Collective, Interpol, The National, Bright Eyes, PJ Harvey, Cee Lo Green, Duran Duran, Wiz Khalifa, Lauryn Hill, Ariel Pink, The New Pornographers, Wire, Broken Social Scene, Crystal Castles, Sleigh Bells, The Chemical Brothers, Nas And Damian Marley, Jimmy Eat World, Cut Copy, Menomena, The Radio Dept., Scissor Sisters, and Ratatat are just a sampling, and you also get sets from the reunited Suede, Big Audio Dynamite, influential Mexican rock group Caifanes, and even Death From Above 1979, who apparently don’t hate each other anymore. The poster is below; tickets go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. PT. [Coachella]
