Kris Jenner will pop up in an upcoming episode of The Mindy Project—provided Mindy Kaling is telling the truth on Instagram. Earlier today, the Mindy star posted a picture of herself and Jenner, captioning it “Mindy Lahiri & Kris Jenner: Best Friends? #comingsoon.” It’s a move that would make at least a modicum of sense for the show, given that Kaling’s Lahiri character is obsessed with the Kardashian “momager,” calling an autographed picture of Jenner the thing she “treasure[s] above all else.”
There’s no word yet about when the episode might air or what its plot could be, but given the giant looming head and prop books floating around in the background of the photo Kaling posted, it’s probably a pretty safe guess that it’ll have something to do with a Jenner-related signing or appearance.
