As confirmed today via conference call, former MSNBC host Keith Olbermann has rebounded with a new position at Al Gore’s Current TV network, suggesting Olbermann may be the tiniest bit liberal. The move is being pitched as a solid investment in Current TV’s future, whose relatively low profile (as of now it's available only in around 60 million homes) will likely get a boost by having Olbermann both take over as Chief News Officer and host his own daily primetime show. Of course, this is a downer announcement for anyone hoping Keith Olbermann might use this time to tour with his krautrock band, Olberbahn.
