Kendrick Lamar to induct N.W.A. into the Rock ‘N’ Roll Hall Of Fame
In December, the Rock ‘N’ Roll Hall Of Fame announced that its class of 2016 inductees would include Deep Purple, Steve Miller Band, N.W.A., Chicago, and Cheap Trick, and now we know a little bit more about the ceremony that will see these bands welcomed into musical Valhalla. As reported by Brooklyn Vegan, Compton native Kendrick Lamar will be there to officially induct N.W.A. into the Hall Of Fame, bringing a little bit of hip, young energy to an occasion that is usually stuffed with boring, old people who haven’t really been relevant for years. Speaking of, Kid Rock will be in attendance as well, leading the induction of power-pop pioneers Cheap Trick, and The Black Keys, Lars Ulrich, and Rob Thomas will also be on hand to liven up the proceedings with their own unique brands of hip, young energy.
The Rock ‘N’ Roll Hall Of Fame induction ceremony will be held on April 8 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, and it’ll air on HBO at some point after that.
