Kesha announces Fuck The World Tour

Over the last few months, Kesha has slowly begun to play shows again—her first ones since the beginning of her legal battle against Lukasz “Dr. Luke” Gottwald, the producer she has accused of physically and verbally assaulting her. She also appeared at the Billboard Music Awards and recorded a single with Zedd. Now, Pitchfork is reporting that Kesha has announced that she’s going on a proper tour this summer. Awesomely dubbed “Kesha And The Creepies: The Fuck The World Tour,” the string of dates actually only includes one show outside of the country, but she’ll at least be making a bunch of stops throughout the United States in the next couple of months.

In a message posted on Instagram, Kesha explained that her “soul slowly dies” if she doesn’t get to make music, so she’ll be going to “mostly small intimate venues” and “performing a new creepy creation.” She’s still not legally allowed to record new music the way she wants to, so instead of new songs she’ll be “reinventing” some of her old ones and playing covers originally written by her “musical idols.”
