According to Hollywood Insider, a biopic about assisted-suicide champion Jack Kevorkian has been announced. The HBO film will be based on the book Between The Dying And The Dead: Dr. Jack Kevorkian's Life And The Battle To Legalize Euthanasia. Kevorkian himself was released from prison in June after serving eight years for second-degree murder in the assisted suicide (famously broadcast on 60 Minutes) of a mentally impaired man.
As for casting speculation, may we suggest… James Cromwell?
