Kid Cudi is one fickle mistress. He creates record labels—like previous outfit Dream On—only to leave them in the dust to create new ones with even sillier names. For example, last week Cudi announced his newest label, Wicked Awesome Records, at a New York City show. And that’s not the only name change in the Cudi-verse: His band name has also changed from “Wizard” to “2 Be Continuum.” Why all the upheaval? “I needed something original, something different,” said Cudi. (Because nothing’s more original than Boston slang and subbing numbers 4 words, we guess?)
