Kid Rock tops charts again

Nearly a decade after "Bawitdaba" stormed the air/cable-waves, people are still lapping up the Kid Rock: Variety reports that his newest album, Rock N Roll Jesus, has ascended Christ-like to the top of Nielsen SoundScan's album charts (his first #1, surprisingly). He's not the only, um, enduring rocker selling nicely this week; further down the charts we see that Puddle Of Mudd's (still around? Huh?) latest lands at 27. (Say what you will about indie-rock hype, but why, oh why, must that be ahead of Band Of Horses' Cease To Begin, which debuted at 35?) Hey, at least Bruce Springsteen is holding strong in the #2 spot.
