Kingdom is technically knocked out, but won’t go down without a fight
Here’s what’s up in the world of TV for Wednesday, June 7. All times are Eastern.
Top pick
Kingdom (Audience, 8 p.m.): It’s already been canceled, but in its third and final season, the MMA-centric series Kingdom is continuing to throw punches until the bitter end. Last week saw Alvey get offered a fight—a real-deal, official fight, albeit a legacy fight—so look for some serious training on the part of both Coach and his wards.
Regular coverage
The Handmaid’s Tale (Hulu, 3:01 a.m.)
F Is For Family (Netflix)
House Of Cards (Netflix)
Fargo (FX, 10 p.m.)
Wild card
Giant (TCM, 10:15 p.m.): If you’ve never seen James Dean’s final film, now’s the chance to treat yourself. George Stevens won a Best Director Oscar for helming this adaptation of Edna Ferber’s novel about life, love, and Texas cattlemen over the course of one family’s existence, from the Great Depression on through to the 1950s.
