Kit Harington to play mo-cap villain in the new Call Of Duty game

Over the course of six seasons, audiences have become accustomed to seeing Kit Harington being upright and noble—to a fault, one could argue—as Jon Snow on Game Of Thrones. But now Harington is being called upon to use his powers for evil, as Entertainment Weekly reports the mysterious motion-capture role Harington teased earlier in the week was for the upcoming Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare:

Harington will play the “face” of enemy faction SDF (the Settlement Defense Front), in mo-cap scenes directed by Guy Ritchie of Snatch and Sherlock Holmes fame, who previously directed a live-action trailer for the franchise:

“Kit immersed himself into the role and truly became the embodiment of the enemy, the Settlement Defense Front. We can’t wait for fans to see Kit play an entirely different kind of character,” narrative director Taylor Kurosaki says. In other words, if you’ve and have always wanted to give Jon Snow a big ol’ sock in in his dumb moody jaw, well, now you’ll have the chance—as well as a few more pretend-violent options.
