Knock Knock’s Ana de Armas may star in Arms And The Dudes

Jonah Hill and Miles Teller, the dudes playing the leads in Arms And The Dudes, are close to having a female co-star to balance out their testosterone. Ana de Armas, who stars alongside Keanu Reeves in Eli Roth’s Knock Knock, is in talks for the role of the Teller character’s girlfriend. Based on a Rolling Stone article written by Guy Lawson, the film follows the story of two stoners who fall into a $300 million contract to supply weapons for U.S. allies in Afghanistan, and inevitably find trouble because they’re in over their heads.

Todd Phillips is on board to direct, and the film will be the first under the still-unnamed production company he and The Hangover star Bradley Cooper have started. Cooper will produce along with Mark Gordon, who first acquired the article and brought it to Phillips. Jason Smilovic will write the script. It’s unclear what other female roles the film will ultimately have, so for now be prepared to witness another Phillips-helmed effort featuring the holy trinity of dudefest cinema: weed, bromance, and shit hitting the fan.
