Says Pitchfork: Harmony Korine, the man behind such fun family fare as Kids, Gummo, and Julien Donkey-Boy, enlisted Jason Pierce of Spacemen 3 and Spiritualized fame to score his new film. Titled Mister Lonely, the movie has something to do with a Michael Jackson impersonator and stars Samantha Morton, David Blaine (?!?) and Korine's buddy Werner Herzog. In addition to the soundtrack–which will also feature the legendary Sun City Girls and be released on Drag City–Pierce says the long-awaited new Spiritualized album will surface in early '08 as soon as Universal "sorts out their shit."
