Hollywood has made tons of movies about men saying “fuck it” and throwing away their responsibilities so they can have a wild bacchanal or whatever, but this trailer for Bad Moms—which doesn’t seem to feature any adult men whatsoever—flips that cliché and focuses on a trio of women (Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell, Kathryn Hahn) who decide they’ve had enough of the rules that modern society places on mothers. As Kunis’ character explains, they all “work too hard” to try and be what Christina Applegate’s evil PTA leader would consider “good moms,” so they decide to “be bad moms” instead. The movie comes from the writers behind The Hangover, and a lot of the jokes sound like the kind of thing you’d expect from those two guys, but hearing Kathryn Hahn call her son “a big, dumb motherfucker” is still pretty funny.
Bad Moms will be in theaters on July 29.
