Kristin Chenoweth isn't going back to The Good Wife after that head injury, thanks
Just over a month after sustaining a head injury when equipment fell on her on the set of CBS’ The Good Wife, Kristin Chenoweth has said that she will not return to the show to reprise her role or the chances of sustaining more head injuries, thanks all the same. “It is with deep regret to inform everyone that due to my injuries, I am unable to return to The Good Wife [or the possibility of getting another head injury],” Chenoweth said in a statement to People. “[I'm] getting better slowly, and thank you everyone for your concern [and not trying to injure me, like The Good Wife].” As TV Line notes, Chenoweth’s reporter character was expected to appear in multiple episodes throughout next season, potentially sustaining multiple injuries. Instead, producers will now be forced to decide whether to scrap the character entirely, or recast it with someone else who doesn’t mind the occasional head injury like Ms. “Please Don’t Give Me A Serious Concussion That Leaves Me In Constant Pain” Diva over here.
