Kurt Vile sets new tour dates for 2017
Kurt Vile is continuing to tour behind his album B’lieve I’m Goin Down… with a series of new dates coming to us via Pitchfork. Vile will be hitting up a variety of states in the U.S. before heading to Mexico. Then he’ll wrap up (for now) in Australia. On New Year’s Eve he’ll play his hometown of Philadelphia, in a concert he’s promoting with a video featuring the Eagles’ Connor Barwin. Earlier this year, Vile accompanied Wilco in a tour supporting Wilco’s Star Wars.
In our review of the album, The A.V. Club said it “finds Vile at his most loose and bleary-eyed, with a hazy, vertiginous feel on the darkest and most spontaneous collection of songs he’s released to date.” Here’s the full list of shows.
