Kurtwood Smith to call someone a dumbass on season 2 of Agent Carter
According to The Hollywood Reporter, ABC’s Agent Carter will be stopping by Wisconsin on its way to Los Angeles for season two. Well, not really, but Kurtwood Smith will be joining the cast, and he was on the Wisconsin-set That ‘70s Show for a long time, so it sort of works. Smith will play a guy named Vernon Masters, and it’ll reportedly be “a major recurring role” in the series. All we know about Masters is that he’s “a veteran of the War Department with a keen understanding of how to work the system,” which probably means he’ll either be a mole for Hydra or another cranky misogynist who gets in Agent Carter’s way when she’s trying to crack skulls and get shit done.
This will also be a reunion of sorts for Smith and Agent Carter showrunners Tara Butters and Michele Fazekas, as all three of them used to work on Resurrection. He was also in Robocop, but that’s not really relevant.
Season two of Agent Carter will premiere on ABC at some point next year.
