Much to Lady Gaga’s disappointment (“Stop leaking my motherfucking videos” she tweeted), the new music video for "Judas" has already hit the Internet several hours before tonight’s scheduled television premiere. And while she may protest the surprise being ruined, as always she can take comfort in the fact that it has people talking. Here Gaga returns as a two-timing biker-chick, which is just one of several new potential Gaga Halloween costumes seen in a video that also features a creepy bride Gaga, a lipstick gun, a bad-ass cape-train-thingy and a whole lot of co-opted religious iconography that’s sure to get her in even more trouble with the Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights. Gaga has already claimed that “Judas” is not supposed to be a religious statement, but she could have fooled us. Whatever it is, it’s bound to be controversial—but if it weren’t, it wouldn’t be Gaga.
