HBO continues to build anticipation for the upcoming return of Curb Your Enthusiasm, placing Larry David’s endlessly cranky mien next to all sorts of improbable situations. The latest trailer for the show’s return—dated October 1—sees David’s face projected, Bat Signal-style, into the night sky, only for Larry to angrily wave the request off.
And while we’re not entirely certain what sort of situation demands the superheroic attention of a guy who’s basically the Human Torch—except only capable of burning bridges with the various people in his life—it’s still good to know that Larry’s out there, somewhere, resolutely not patrolling or looking to protect the downtrodden or the weak.
