Reminding us all that, no matter how long you’ve been rocking, you can always be a little more metal, Metal Sucks reports that Metallica’s Lars Ulrich has been knighted in his native Denmark. The ceremony apparently took place last month, when Ulrich was awarded “the Knight’s Cross of the Order of Dannebrog,” one of the higher honors in Danish society. It’s unclear whether Ulrich will now depart the massively successful metal band in order to roam the country, slaying dragons, battling duels, and engaging in other album-art-ready antics, or if he’ll limit himself to his ongoing war with the other members of Metallica, instead.
