Laura Dern has also moved to Twin Peaks
Despite all of the weird things that are known to happen there, a lot of people are deciding to move to the town of Twin Peaks lately. The latest newcomer is Laura Dern, who has worked with creator David Lynch multiple times in the past and will be reuniting with her Blue Velvet co-star Kyle MacLachlan for Showtime’s revived version of Twin Peaks. This comes form TV Line, which says that it doesn’t have any official details about who Dern will play, but apparently there’s a theory going around that she’ll be Diane, the never-before-seen woman on the other end of the many messages recorded by MacLachlan’s Agent Dale Cooper in the original series. It’s still just a rumor, but since virtually no details about the Twin Peaks revival have been officially confirmed by Showtime, rumors like that are pretty much the only thing we have to go off of.
Whoever she’s playing, Dern will be joining Sheryl Lee, Sherilyn Fenn, Miguel Ferrer, Robert Knepper, Balthazar Getty, Peter Sarsgaard, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Amanda Seyfried.
