As previously noted, the future of two Law & Order shows at NBC is uncertain. Last night, Variety posted a speculation-laced update, picking up on talk that the Criminal Intent spinoff might have the a better chance for survival than the original L&O;. No final decision has been made yet. Old-timey fans may fret over these odds, but look at it this way: CI's probably the first role that ever helped Vincent D'Onofrio get laid, whereas Sam Waterston clearly has sex appeal to spare. (Law & Order: Special Victims Unit has already been renewed.)
