Dick Wolf was apparently feeling left out now that everyone else has a true-crime show and he only has fake crime shows, so NBC greenlit Law & Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders. And here’s the first trailer for he series, which asks whether the titular brothers were “killers or victims” and features cheesy reenactments with a whole bunch of over-the-top blood splatter. Edie Falco plays the Menendez’ attorney Leslie Abramson, musing: “What these boys did is not this issue. It’s why they did it.”
Law & Order True Crime is premiering on NBC this fall with a slot on Thursday nights.
