LCD Soundsystem, Guns N’ Roses reunions top this year’s Coachella lineup
Confirming the speculative chatter that has been flying around over the past couple of months, both Guns N’ Roses—which encouraged the rumors—and LCD Soundsystem—which vehemently denied the rumors—are reuniting and will play headlining sets at this year’s Coachella Valley Music And Arts Festival in Indio, California. LCD Soundsystem will headline Friday, April 15 and 22, and Guns N’ Roses Saturday, April 16 and 23. Sundays will be headlined by Scottish DJ Calvin Harris, who will presumably arrive accompanied by a swarm of paparazzi and special lady friend Taylor Swift.
Other, slightly less famous names on the lineup include Ellie Goulding, M83, Sufjan Stevens, Courtney Barnett, CHVRCHES, A$AP Rocky, Run the Jewels, Sia, Beach House, Underworld, Major Lazer, and Rancid, a band you might be forgiven for thinking is another reunion act, except it’s not.
Festival passes go one sale Wednesday, January 6th at 11am PT, with a run on Urban Outfitters locations across Southern California expected soon afterwards.
