LCD Soundsystem’s new album will be out in September

LCD Soundsystem—far from finished—has already unveiled two singles and played a bunch of shows, but now the band has announced the dates for the album release and tour launch. The record, called American Dream, will be available September 1, and will feature 10 tracks, including one tantalizingly called “emotional haircut.” James Murphy’s outfit will be at some festivals this summer before embarking on a world tour after the release. They’re scheduled to play multiple dates in a city, including five nights at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles. Their time on the road will wrap up with a 10-night residency at Brooklyn Steel, the venue where they are currently stationed for a set of concerts.
