Least Essential: The NPR Audio Version
Hey you guys,
Since we just put our big "Least Essential" piece up I figured you might like to hear a lengthy interview I did with NPR to promote our holiday perennial, complete with gratuitous usage of the phrases "like", "um" and "the interesting thing is" (cause if something's interesting it totally needs to be pointed out as such). It can totally be found here:

The fun thing about this piece, beyond my stammering and near-total incoherence, is actually getting to hear snippets from many of the albums involved, especially a blood-curdlingly maudlin selection from the "Unexpected Dreams: Songs From The Stars" from Xena the Warrior Princess that really needs to be heard to be disbelieved. These albums really are just as jaw-droppingly awful in practice as they are in theory.
Anywho, enjoy and radio people out there: if you have me on your show I promise to be infinitely more loquacious next time around. It was the eggnog talking. Really it was.
