LeBron James takes a shot at comedy in new film
You can stop holding your breath: Basketball wunderkind LeBron James will finally make his feature film debut in a new comedy, Fantasy Basketball Camp. According to Variety, James will play himself in this movie about a group of guys who come to Las Vegas to take part in the LeBron James Adult Basketball Camp. (Don't get your hopes up, fellas, the camp is fictional. For the time being, anyway.) The movie's writers, Lowell Ganz and Babaloo Mandel, created the classic comedies Splash, City Slickers, and A League of Their Own, although they're also directly responsible for EdTV. James can also be seen in the upcoming documentary More Than a Game. Let's hope this is the start of a prolific acting career so he can team up with fellow Cavalier Shaquille O'Neal for a Kazaam sequel.
