LEGO announced its intention to make a Back To The Future-themed playset late last year, but now the company has debuted the actual product, just in time for this week’s BTTF-themed Pop Pilgrims episode. Coincidence? (Yes.) The 401-piece kit is suitable for those 10 and up, and features not only Doc, Marty, and Marty’s skateboard, but also a relatively complex looking version of the DeLorean complete with gull-wing doors, fold-up wheels, flux capacitor, time travel display, and two—count ‘em, two—license plates. The set is a little pricey at $34.99, but does come with a little booklet containing some production notes and photos from the movie, not that anyone who might buy this set wouldn’t have seen those already.
