Lena Dunham is going on tour and she wants you to open for her
Lena Dunham is going on tour. The Girls star is hitting 10 of the country’s most Dunham-friendly metropolises this fall to promote her new book, Not That Kind Of Girl. A number of the dates already feature special guests or discussion leaders, like Amy Schumer, Girls producer Jenni Konner, Girls star Jemima Kirke, Zadie Smith, Carrie Brownstein, and Morgan Murphy. But in many cities, Dunham is also seeking talented “opening acts,” asking interested parties to submit videos of themselves singing, doing comedy, playing spoons, or what have you, all in hopes of landing the three-to-five-minute slot before her talk.
All dates for the tour are below. Not That Kind Of Girl hits bookstores and Kindles everywhere Sept. 30.
