Lena Dunham made a bleak (but funny) video for her boyfriend's band
Somehow, Fun’s Jack Antonoff managed to convince his girlfriend, Lena Dunham, to direct a new music video for his new band. The clip for Bleachers’ “I Wanna Get Better” is, like a lot of Dunham’s work, bleak yet wryly funny. Set against the catchy track, Antonoff plays a recently dumped therapist who deals with a series of sad-sack patients played by various A.V. Club faves like Mary Kay Place and Parks And Recreation’s Retta. It’s a clip Dunham fans should definitely enjoy on several levels.
