Lena Dunham set to host Saturday Night Live

Saturday Night Live is about to get really, really awkward. Girls creator and star Lena Dunham will host the show Saturday, March 8, meaning viewers should start girding their comedy loins, possibly readying for a bunch of audience questions during the monologue about Dunham’s boobs and so on. (One totally unsolicited suggestion: Dunham is pretty much tailor-made for the “Lambertini” porn star sketch.) Dunham will be joined by SNL virgins The National, promoting the documentary about the group, Mistaken For Strangers, that hits theaters in late March.

Not That Kind Of Girl, Dunham’s first book, will be released October 7.
