Lena Dunham has spent the last few months shooting Girls season four, Night Of A Thousand Stars, in New York City, a fact that will not be news to anyone who lives in Williamsburg or follows someone who lives in Williamsburg on social media. Speaking of which, the first teaser for #season4 has arrived. The video debuted on Dunham’s Instagram account, thus necessitating the use of cutesy hashtags when talking about it.
Keeping in the recent tradition of infuriatingly vague teaser trailers, the short video is more of a behind-the-scenes look than a teaser proper, as Dunham—or rather, her stunt double—falls off her bike in the park. She’s got a helmet on, though, so it’s all cool. The fourth season of Girls is set to debut on HBO next winter.
