Let’s examine how similar the Garden State and Wish I Was Here trailers are

A lot of people—including us—have pointed out that the trailers for Garden State and Zach Braff’s new movie, Wish I Was Here, look fairly similar. But Grantland went the distance to point out just how similar the two clips actually are, and the side-by-side comparison is fairly startling. As Grantland notes, both clips feature a waiting room scene, a shot of the movie’s cast yelling, Jim Parsons, and a bird’s-eye shot of two people lying down. There are even more similar shots elucidated over on Grantland, all of which should just serve to make you shake your head and (once again) think, “Really, Zach Braff? Really?”
