Ever since the latest in a long line of shocking deaths on Game Of Thrones, speculation about Jon Snow’s ultimate fate has spread across the internet like wildfire on a leaky wooden boat. Like most speculation, it’s been largely baseless, with one of the more substantial pieces coming from Kit Harington’s (who plays Snow on the show) co-star Emilia Clarke, a statement that began, “I can, with all honesty, say I have no idea what’s happening.”
But now we’ve got it, guys. Some real evidence. Ready?
Dude hasn’t cut his hair in a while.
Look how Jon Snow-ish Harington looks in this photo, taken at Wimbledon last week and reprinted in The Wrap. He’s certainly got the moody glare bit right:
Of course, it’s also possible that A) Harington realized that women love that luxurious Jon Snow mane, or B) He missed his last barber’s appointment, presumably due to circumstances related to point A. But he complains about his haircut all the time. Why would a man keep a haircut he didn’t like, except as a coded message to fans that his character is not actually dead, and will return to ride triumphantly over the gates of King’s Landing astride a dragon with his half-sister/lover Daenerys Targaryen?
