Here’s what’s up in the world of TV for Monday, December 2. All times are Eastern.
TOP PICK
The Blacklist (NBC, 10 p.m.): This freshman drama closes out the first half of its first season with part two of its two-part fall finale, "Anslo Garrick, Part 2." We tried to interpret the episode description, but not gonna lie, we couldn't understand a word of it. But it seems like James Spader's character goes missing, presumably because Spadering is dangerous, delicate work. Phil Dyess-Nugent will be on the scene to make sure that no Spadering gets too out of hand.

The Wrong Mans (Hulu, 7 p.m.): Hey, have you heard the story about the time that Sonia Saraiya, Erik Adams, and Todd VanDerWerff all covered a new show for weeks without adding it to the What's On Tonight schedule? Well, boy, do we have a yarn for you. Just in time for the penultimate episode, too!
Adventure Time (Cartoon Network, 7 p.m.): Anne Heche guest-stars as the Root Beer Guy in tonight's Adventure Time—in which Finn and Jake kidnap Princess Bubblegum. Root Beer Guy witnesses it, but no one believes him! Oliver Sava is a little confused by this story, but to be fair, he's also not that into root beer.
Regular Show (Cartoon Network, 7:30 p.m.): Muscle Man, Rigby, Mordecai, and High Fives want to get a stuntman license for Timmy's birthday party. Alasdair Wilkins has a feeling this could be a bad idea.
Almost Human (Fox, 8 p.m.): Future drugs are scary! That's the whole plot summary, in a nutshell. Kevin McFarland is legit terrified of future drugs, though. And also of the future.
How I Met Your Mother (CBS, 8 p.m.): Barney wants to have the rehearsal dinner at a laser tag arena! Robin is disappointed. Donna Bowman, on the other hand, is stoked. Lasers!!!
Mom (CBS, 9:30 p.m.): This episode is called "Cotton Candy And Blended Fish," which is just making us feel really terrible. Todd VanDerWerff is going to have to skip dinner before he reviews this. Fish-flavored cotton candy, meanwhile, is still a terrible idea.
Hostages (CBS, 10 p.m.): Now Duncan's going to New York to save the president! And his secret not-dead mother-in-law wants to expose the president for a scandal! Sonia Saraiya is going to spend the evening shouting at the television.
WHAT ELSE IS ON?
Seriously Amazing Objects: Melting Pot (Smithsonian, 8 p.m.): A couple goes to Montana to witness a recreation of the Battle of Little Bighorn. Then a trip to the zoo turns into an art project with pandas. Wait, what on earth is this show about?
Steven Universe (Cartoon Network, 8 p.m.): Steven forms a magical crystal bubble around himself, but then he can't figure out how to turn it off. This is a problem we have a lot.
The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills (Bravo, 8 p.m.): Yolanda's family visits from Holland in time to see her husband get a star on the Hollywood walk of fame.
The Voice (NBC, 9 p.m.): The live performances are down to the top six. Our hexagonal hegemons demand sacrifice.
Best Funeral Ever (TLC, 10 p.m.): A new reality show features wild and wacky funerals. Sonia Saraiya reviewed the premiere and found it surprisingly charming.
Rick And Morty (Adult Swim, 10:30 p.m.): Dan Harmon decided to do an animated show in his off-season from Community. It debuts tonight for your morbid fantasies. David Sims loved the first two episodes he saw, and reviewed them here.
Monday Night Football: Saints At Seahawks (ESPN, 8:40 p.m.): We are not super-impressed by the names of either of these teams. Neither saints nor seahawks sound all that threatening.
