LeVar Burton’s decades-long commitment to Reading Rainbow is nothing if admirable, especially in the wake of his more-than-successful Kickstarter campaign to bring the show back. His vigor might be more than just charity, though, as a new Funny Or Die clip demonstrates. In “Reading Rainbow’s New Theme Song,” Burton finds himself imbued with godlike powers after years of manipulating planets, butterflies, and rainbows. It’s fairly dark, but, hey, you don’t have to take our word for it.
