Liam Gallagher says he'd be up for reuniting Oasis next year

Because the sun is shining or he woke up on the right side of the bed or something, Liam Gallagher is now saying that he’d be amenable to reuniting Oasis around the 20th anniversary of the band’s 1994 record Definitely Maybe. The younger Gallagher brother told NME that he’d “do it for nowt”—or "nothing," in Liamese—but also, “If someone’s going to drop a load of fucking money, I’d do it for that too.” (Attn.: Coachella)

That being said, Gallagher says he doubts the band would ever really get back together to make another record, adding that he’s not on speaking terms with his brother Noel. Still, he calls the group’s demise “unfinished business,” and says he’d “bury the hatchet for a quick lap of honour,” so that’s something.

Liam Gallagher’s current band Beady Eye is releasing its second record, BE, on June 10 in the UK. The record will be out later this summer in the U.S.
