Liam Neeson to play "bohemian London artist" in new comedy from actor James D'Arcy

Liam Neeson is slated to star in an honest-to-goodness comedy with Made In Italy, the directorial debut of actor James D’Arcy (Dunkirk, Marvel’s Agent Carter). The Hollywood Reporter says the gruff centerpiece of this century’s grimmest action flicks will perform alongside Vox Lux actor Micheál Richardson as “a bohemian London artist,” which has us laughing nearly as much as his Cold Pursuit character being named “Nels Coxman.”

Neeson and Richardson will play father and son in the movie, which will find them venturing to Italy to sell a house left to them by Neeson’s character’s late wife. “[W]ith Liam and Micheál playing a father and son facing challenges both emotional and comedic in Tuscany, we are in for a very special treat,” said Gabrielle Stewart of HanWay Films, which is managing worldwide sales of the film.

Will there be a troublesome mouse in the house? Or will Neeson spill marinara on his kaftan? Maybe they’ll accidentally tip over the Leaning Tower of Pisa? We’ll laugh regardless, because, as the below clip demonstrates, we know this is important to him.
