The Hayley Atwell Dubsmash Revolution, as it shall be referred to in the history textbooks, has reached such great heights that Team Agent Carter and Team S.H.I.E.L.D. have organized a formal Dubsmash war for charity. Yes, the reach of the lip-syncing app is vast, and power couple Olivia Munn and Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers have gotten in on the game, with Munn posting a series of Dubsmashes on her Instagram yesterday. For them, it’s less about war and more about reminding everyone that they are a cute couple who do cute things together.
Unlike Atwell and company, Rodgers and Munn opted for starring in movie scenes instead of just lip-syncing to pop songs, recreating a couple of iconic moments from The Princess Bride. Munn also took it upon herself to channel Denzel Washington in Training Day. They did the singing thing, too, getting their Sarah McLachlan on, as well vibing out to Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men. No matter how cute Munn and Rodgers are trying to be, it didn’t stop us from having the thought that the combination of Sarah McLachlan, Mariah Carey, and Boyz II Men would make a great breakup playlist in general. But you know what they say: Couples who Dubsmash together, stay together.
