Limp Bizkit and Kirby find common ground in breaking stuff thanks to new mashup
On the surface, you might not see much overlap between Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst and Nintendo’s rotund, ravenous Kirby, but they both share one very distinctive trait: a boiling inner rage. It just manifests through different modes of dopiness, with Durst smirkingly threatening people with chainsaws while Kirby cheerily up and eats you. Regardless, they both want to watch the world burn.
To celebrate this dovetailing of personalities, YouTube user matrixmonster110 struck gold by mashing up Kirby’s “Dream Land” theme from Super Smash Bros. with Limp Bizkit’s “Break Stuff.” If nothing else, it will conjure the image of Kirby bouncing through one of his kaleidoscopic fantasy worlds bellowing, “Your best bet is to stay away, motherfucker!”
Being reminded that Durst tattooed Kurt Cobain’s face on his boob might make you want to break stuff, too.
