Linkin Park cancels upcoming tour

Yesterday, we reported on the death of Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington, at the age of 41. Today, Rolling Stone brings the unsurprising news that the band has now canceled the upcoming North American leg of its current world tour, in the wake of Bennington’s death.

The band recently completed the European leg of the tour, designed to promote its recently released album One More Light. Venue owner Live Nation announced that the North American dates—scheduled to kick off in Massachusetts on July 27—have all been canceled, and that refunds will be issued for all purchased tickets.

Bennington’s death was ruled a suicide earlier today.
