Listen to a new track from Upset, a new band featuring ex-Hole, Best Coast, and Vivian Girls members

When drummer Ali Koehler left Best Coast and Vivian Girls, she decided to start her own band. Melodic punk band Upset matches Koehler with Hole’s Patty Schemel and Jennifer Prince, and should have a full-length record, She’s Gone, out Oct. 29 on Don Giovanni Records. The A.V. Club has the premiere of the group’s new single, also titled “She’s Gone,” a track that’s equal parts That Dog and Veruca Salt.

Interested parties can pre-order She’s Gone via the Don Giovanni site today. The band will also be on tour with Screaming Females this fall, and those dates are below.
