Bobby Long might be British, but he knows an awful lot about music from the States. The singer-songwriter wrote his university thesis on the social impact of American folk music and has translated that academic fervor into a recording career of his own. Wishbone, his second record on ATO, comes out Feb. 19 and was recorded with producer Ted Hutt, who’s worked with acts like Lucero and Old Crow Medicine Show.
