Los Angeles has birthed a number of sibling bands, including, but not limited to The Beach Boys and Haim. Now the city of angels is launching Babes, who are a self-described “locomotive sex drive down a trail of tears.” The group will release its release their first EP on Harvest Records May 27, but A.V. Club readers can get an exclusive first listen to the self-titled EP below. Also below is the group’s clip for “Die,” which features an incredibly swarthy and charming Eric Wareheim.
