Listen to "Teardrop Windows," the first single from Benjamin Gibbard's first solo record

Benjamin “Ben” Gibbard has released the first single from his forthcoming solo record, out Oct. 16. “Teardrop Windows” is off Former Lives, which will be released via Barsuk Records, the label that first brought Death Cab For Cutie to the masses. The record is available for pre-order now in three different packages on Gibbard’s website, and all pre-orders will receive a download of “Teardrop Windows.”

Gibbard will be going on a solo tour this fall, hitting 14 different cities in North America. Damien Jurado and Advance Base will open. Dates are below.
