TV On The Radio’s Tunde Adebimpe has a new band. The wordily-named Higgins Waterproof Black Magic Band will release its first EP tomorrow, Oct. 1, but The A.V. Club is streaming it today exclusively. The self-titled EP is reminiscent of work by CAN, Talk Talk, and Ali Farka Toure, and features work from members of Lone Wolf And Cub, Big Numbers, and Lee Scratch Perry’s band.
The group will be appearing every Sunday night in October at Brooklyn’s Union Pool.
